There was yet another school shooting yesterday in Texas-an elementary school this time. Fatalities close to twenty lives so far, many of them children. So needless that this happens ever, here or in any country.

This morning, social media and news reports looks like a clickbait circus. It’s already turned into a polarized political election cycle warehouse. It’s disgusting. They’re using these children’s pictures to create a buzz over their political agendas. And it’s polarizing an already divided civilization.

We won’t need another country to implode this land-from all appearances, we’re destroying it ourselves.

The most beautiful bouquets in this world likely won’t come from a florist-they’ll come from hands smaller than yours, hands that saw beauty and decided to share it with another. They’ll know how to do that because you’ve modeled that for them. You’ve taught them to see flowers where others only saw weeds.

Today, the work you do? Make it one of beauty, share it with hands of every size and shape and color. The seeds you plant today become the flowers of tomorrow.

In gratitude:

  1. A full joy journal-seeing grace even in the hard.

  2. The not so subtle song of a mockingbird “talking” to Milo, the cats

  3. Takeaway meal on night I couldn’t stomach cooking.

  4. Having the mancubs here-today we will cocoon safely at home and breathe relief.
