The making of a name, what we are called, what we place over ourselves as identity and the meaning behind our choices, the choices and depth of the meanings we choose. I wondered why and went looking. Historically, names were a sampling of a person’s identity before you even got to know them. The changing of one’s name when identity changes is common, such as in through marriage or when moving to a different culture. Tara has its origins in the Celtic language. It is from the word tara which means 'hill'. The name is derived from the Irish place name 'Teamhair na Rí', translated in English as Hill of Tara; it is located in County Meath, former seat of the high kings of Ireland and therefore known also as 'Hill of the King'.

In gratitude:

The way we’ve learned slowly yet surely that our identity isn’t formed from the world. How, ultimately, scripture shows us that our identity, our name, is found in Him.
