The reason? Real life still carries on while schooling.
And while we do have an effective weekly cleaning and daily tidying routine in place, making sure our learning areas are prepped has more to do with if the space is helpful or a hindrance to our daily needs. Cleaning, rearranging to create an optimized space for the season of life we are in now.
At this point, weโve learned that, for us, a neat tidy space to work ๐ช๐ด ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ท๐ข๐ฏ๐ต. Too many distractions and too much stuff just stifles us here. The space must be quieted and prepared to work and serve. Itโs not so much that it has to look a certain way or have the latest and greatest โstuffโ in there. Itโs just that the stuff itself has to serve.
When it comes to arranging spaces, Iโve found it most helpful to remember the space doesnโt need to be fancy schmancy, but it ๐๐๐จ to be a workhorse. It has to serve.
