I’m not sure if we fully appreciate at a deep conscious level that what we daily surround ourselves with deeply forms the direction we face, the way we daily walk.
“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
Deuteronomy 6:7
The Bible teaches that the knowledge that’s been shared with us gets passed on to the next generation. We teach what we know, what we’ve been taught, and what we’ve learned along the way.
“You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Deuteronomy 6:8-9
So, the twofold question is this: Does our home reflect the truth of Truth? Do we know what knowledge to pass to the next generation?
