Albert Einstein was an interesting man. From the outside, he was peculiar curious, quirky scientific genius to the people of his time. He didn’t seem to get ruffled over conventional academic adornment. He kinda just did his own thing, despite the climate of his generation. One of his quirks that rattled colleagues was his love of naps. When he’d get right at the pinnacle of solving difficult hypothetical proofs? He’d stop and take a nap. 𝗛𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱. He also understood his colleagues looked to him as a leader and he needed to be at his best when there.

It felt absurd to his colleagues; but, this they learned in time(𝘱𝘶𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘺)…𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙥, 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙣. He was purpose-filled, focused, and even humbly acknowledged his own limitations.

He worked best with a rested mind. Others benefited when he showed up at his best. I don’t think we are much different.
