Something we started two years ago and has stood the test of time…every ten lessons in his hardest subject that he completes, he gets a small “prize”. It isn’t a present to be unwrapped, but a special moment to commemorate his hard work, to celebrate consistency and perseverance. Today, he completed another level of his spelling work. He chose to make blueberry muffins to share with his brothers. His humbleness, his willingness to serve others with all his might, still stuns me and preaches to me daily.
