While I adore a beautiful decorated space, I lean more practical because of the season of life we are in. ๐–พ) didnโ€™t seem to fit traditional or modern, minimalist or maximalist.

โ€œPracticalโ€ is apparently not a style per se in the decor world.

I want a house that feels more like a home than a museum, more touchable than breakable. Iโ€™ve never had a decoratorโ€™s eye; I just know if it feels like home.

I like pieces that have lived already, been touched by generations of women-pieces that have felt love, pieces that served generations, still prepared to serve more.

I discovered yesterday that is called ๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™œ๐™š ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ฏ๐™ฎ ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™œ๐™š ๐™›๐™–๐™ง๐™ข๐™๐™ค๐™ช๐™จ๐™š-itโ€™s a mouthful. I prefer to just call it home.

Frames found at local thrift for less than a dollar each, vintage printables printed from public domain, do-it-yourself modge podge layered under and over to adhere to frame. I choose autumn landscapes with deep nature tones.
