The reason? Real life still carries on while schooling.

And while we do have an effective weekly cleaning and daily tidying routine in place, making sure our learning areas are prepped has more to do with if the space is helpful or a hindrance to our daily needs. Cleaning, rearranging to create an optimized space for the season of life we are in now.

At this point, we’ve learned that, for us, a neat tidy space to work đ˜Ē𝘴 đ˜ŗđ˜Ļ𝘭đ˜Ļ𝘷đ˜ĸđ˜¯đ˜ĩ. Too many distractions and too much stuff just stifles us here. The space must be quieted and prepared to work and serve. It’s not so much that it has to look a certain way or have the latest and greatest “stuff” in there. It’s just that the stuff itself has to serve. đ˜ˆđ˜¯đ˜Ĩ đ˜Ē𝘧 đ˜Ēđ˜ĩ đ˜Ĩ𝘰đ˜Ļđ˜´đ˜¯â€™đ˜ĩ 𝘴đ˜Ļđ˜ŗđ˜ˇđ˜Ļ, đ˜Ēđ˜ĩ’𝘴 đ˜Ģđ˜ļ𝘴đ˜ĩ đ˜ĸ 𝘸đ˜Ļđ˜Ē𝘨𝘩đ˜ĩ đ˜ĩ𝘩đ˜ĸđ˜ĩ 𝘸đ˜Ē𝘭𝘭 đ˜ŗđ˜Ļ𝘲đ˜ļđ˜Ēđ˜ŗđ˜Ļ 𝘸đ˜Ļđ˜Ļđ˜Ŧ𝘭đ˜ē đ˜Ĩđ˜ļ𝘴đ˜ĩđ˜Ēđ˜¯đ˜¨.

When it comes to arranging spaces, I’ve found it most helpful to remember the space doesn’t need to be fancy schmancy, but it 𝙝𝙖𝙨 to be a workhorse. It has to serve.
