In 2009, we flipped from a traditional box curriculum to Ambleside Online. While I personally did well with a traditional school setting, it wasnโt working for our oldest son. He was bored, spent most of his days attempting to sit still at a desk, begged daily to not return to a brick and mortar setting. He was miserable-I couldnโt bear to watch his curious intellect fade. We began homeschooling.
When I looked at the CM home education series, I knew I had little time to prepare & needed the basics in modern language.

I highly recommend it as a jumpstart before you dig into the meatier home education series.
