fogs

This morning, I opened the curtains to fog-fog so thick that I could barely see the driveway. ⁣

The frustrational vision of wrestling to wrangle the fogs we can’t control-man, it is so real. ⁣

I remembered a sermon I heard decades ago...⁣I was only 15 years old, sitting wide-eyed in a Friday morning chapel service.  The preacher was talking about trying to see through fog while driving one night.  He couldn’t see, but kept his lights on bright & slowed to a crawl. The tall tractor trailer truck behind him, though, was right on his tail. ⁣

He couldn’t understand why the huge truck was still going so fast-one would think that the tall truck could see how thick that fog was too. He wanted that truck to slow down, but he couldn’t control the driver of the truck.⁣

What he did not & could not see then was that the trucker 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 see. That tall, huge truck was above the fog, above the confusion, above all the distractions.⁣

It’s not much different when we feel like we’re living in an uncontrollable fog.  ⁣

God above can see exactly what is going on, knows every obstacle in your way, God is not confused.⁣

𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺. ⁣

Even if you cannot see the entire picture, just remember you’re not alone. You are seen.  God can take our fog & weave a divine tapestry of unconfused grace.⁣ Even when we can’t see past the obstacles, He’s still there.
